UFC News: Is Conor McGregor Retiring in 2020?

Conor McGregor is arguably among the biggest names when it comes to the world of boxing. ‘The Notorious’ Irishman has headlined several UFC PPVs and has recently claimed to have joined the Billionaires club.

A successful entrepreneur off the octagon, McGregor is indeed an enviable name! However, in what seems as rather sad news for his fans, McGregor might just be retiring in about a year from now.

While nothing is official as of now, there have always been indicators of this. McGregor, after investing his money in the right places and promoting his brands using his own starpower, has emerged as a very successful name. He has announced his retirement multiple times in the past but it seems that the next time would be his last.

Conor McGregor to Return Later This Year?

McGregor is expected to make his final comeback to the UFC later this year, likely at the UFC 242 PPV where Khabib vs Poirier is the main event. However, it is unlikely that he will get into a fight with Khabib straightaway. McGregor’s return is likely to feature bouts against the likes of Gaethje, Masvidal and Diaz before he gets to face off against his biggest rival – Khabib Nurmagomedov.
