The two men are known to be the best in the lightweight division. Khabib has been a consistent performer and has the longest undefeated streak in MMA history, currently at 27-0. He aims at making Dustin Poirier his 28th victim at Abu Dhabi.

However, it would be wrong to take Poirier lightly too, as he defeated the dangerous quartet of Holloway, Alvarez, Gaethje, and Pettis to reach the top of the mountain. He is a legitimate threat to Khabib Nurmagomedov and many believe he might emerge the winner of Khabib vs Poirier.
