If Khabib Nurmagomedov somehow ends up losing the Khabib vs Poirier fight at UFC 242, it is going to cause a lot of people to be upset!

The two men are all set to go head to head on the 7th of September at Abu Dhabi as they fight to unify the UFC World Lightweight Championship.

Khabib Nurmagomedov has not fought in UFC since October 2018 when he was served a ban for his post-match altercation with Khabib Nurmagomedov where the action spilled outside of the octagon. Dustin Poirier has faced the likes of Holloway and defeated him twice. He has faced Alvarez, Pettis, Gaethje and defeated all of them. His last loss came against Michael Johnson in September 2016! Since then, Poirier has been unstoppable. Khabib vs Poirier is expected to be a landmark fight in his career and one which he has a fairly good chance of winning – but one must never underestimate the undefeated Russian as well!
