Nuclear submarine thriller Tenacity plot, cast and release date

The ITV thriller Tenacity discovers a Royal Navy sailor dead aboard a nuclear submarine. When a military detective is sent for investigating the accident, things become clear and it seems that something sinister is going on.

When will Tenacity release on TV?

The show is set to release next year. There is no fixed air date for the show yet. So the fans will have to wait to know more about the release date of the six-part series.

What is the show all about?

The show is based on JS Law’s debut novel. It is written and created by Peter A Dowling, whose previous credits also include Reasonable Doubt and Flightplan. This is going to be his first ever UK television show.

ITV talks about the show’s plot. When a dead submariner is found on the British nuclear submarine Tenacity and investigations begin, military detective Danielle ‘Dan’ Lewis was sent to make investigation. ITV continues,

But when the case turns to murder it puts her in conflict with Tenacity’s crew, her Navy superiors, and into the crosshairs of an assassin who has infiltrated her nuclear base with an agenda that will not only destroy national security but kill Dan and everyone she loves.

The production company has made other shows as well including A Discovery of Witches and His Dark Materials.  Entertainment One will also be a partner.

Who will be in the cast of Tenacity?

The casting has not been revealed yet. We will only get to know about it closer to the production phase of the show.
