Noah Syndergaard is one of the most interesting MLB players who has been the talk of the town as the trade deadline approaches. New York Mets have not yet decided what to do with Syndergaard aka Thor, and yet it has been adding new pitchers to their team. Marcus Stroman from Toronto Blue Jays has been finally traded to the Mets.
It makes three of the biggest names, Zack Wheeler, Marcus Stroman and Noah Syndergaard in a single team. There is no point in holding out for three-star pitchers, and one of them will be traded out soon. Even though Syndergaard has better stats, he will be traded out for better returns. Minnesota Twins has been considered as the potential buyer and here is why the deal is almost confirmed.
Twitter Profile is Hinting a Deal
Most of the Thor fans have been refreshing their Twitter feeds to get any update on the MLB trade deals. Noah Syndergaard kind of teased his fans just a few hours before the deadline by changing his Twitter profile bio. Thor has edited his bio, and it now reads as: ‘Pitcher for the New York Mets, for now. Mrs. Met would hate to see me traded.’

It only means that Syndergaard is going to change his team soon and the Mets might not like the decision. The next thing Syndergaard posted was a picture of Thor as in his nickname with the caption, ‘I have no idea what is going on.’ There can’t be any clear hints that Thor is going to leave the Mets behind and join a new team soon.
Minnesota Twins ready to Pay for Thor
Noah Syndergaard is young and energetic with an age of only 26 years, considered as one of the best pitchers in MLB right now. He is currently having an ERA of 4.33 in the last 20 starts, which is way better than his career average of 3.21 ERA. Along with that, his strikeout-to-walk ratio has dropped from 4.6 to 3.5.

It doesn’t matter much as Syndergaard is a much better player overall and is very athletic in nature. The Twins have been linked with Thor from a long time, and a deal can be made soon. As per the reports, the Mets would ask for their top two prospects, Royce Lewis and Alex Kirilloff, which the Minnesota Twins are ready to pay-up for Thor.
