When it comes to fighting in the octagon, only a few can even dream of attaining the levels of superstardom that Conor McGregor has. Over the years he has had battles and wars with some of the fiercest fighters on the planet but it seems that Khabib Nurmagomedov has got McGregor’s goat. However, while we wait for McGregor vs Khabib rematch, one can only wonder if there’s someone other than Khabib who can be considered McGregor’s biggest rival.

Who is McGregor’s Greatest Rival?

Many have considered the likes of Nate Diaz or even Justin Gaethje to be equal to Conor McGregor. While both these fighters are incredible in their own right, McGregor seems to be someone who is far superior. He has the aura of a superstar and is a very dominant fighter as well. Khabib is a recent rival.

One name, however, that is rarely spoken of when it comes to Conor McGregor, is that of Kevin Lee. Given the fact that Lee is a conservative fighter, he likes to avoid direct hits and waits for his moment. This is what gives him an advantage against someone like McGregor.

As of this writing, no one can say for sure if there will ever be a rematch between McGregor vs Khabib. However, UFC President Dana White, as well as millions of viewers from around the world have been pretty hopeful of the fact that the rematch will indeed happen someday.
