Brock Lesnar vs Daniel Cormier vs John Cena has a clear winner
Lesnar is a six-time professional wrestling world champion, a two time NCAA All American member, a heavyweight champion in MMA, and without a doubt, one of the biggest entertainment faces in the wrestling industry today.
Heyman strongly believes that the skills and the persona that Lesnar possesses makes him quite unique. And that combination is what makes him better than his peers, like Cormier and Cane, he says. He goes on to guarantee that neither of the two would ever be able to enjoy the same level of success in two competitions- UFC and WWE, in the way that Lesnar has.
This success is the reason that Brock Lesnar has always landed multi-million dollar TV deals, Heyman says. After all, Brock Lesnar is the only person to hold the UFC Championship, the NCAA Division I Championship, and top WWE titles like the Universal Title of the WWE Title itself. This incredible performance that he has shown throughout his career is what distinguishes him from the rest, he adds.
Heyman then goes on to say that if John Cena could have become UFC Champion, he would have. Or if Daniel Cormier could have become a WWE Champion, he would have. Heyman feels the reason both these events haven’t happened is that both wrestlers are simply not capable of doing both!
Lesnar and Cena have come face to face, at Extreme Rules 2012 (Lesnar’s return match), which Lesnar lost by a close margin. But he had his revenge later when he annihilated Cena at SummerSlam 2014.
As for Cormier and Lesnar, the two were rumored to fight for the UFC Heavyweight Championship. But it now seems that the fight may be off, with MMA President Dana White confirming that Lesnar has opted to retire from the competition.
