The Legend of Korra is back with a sequel!! After a hiatus of nearly five years, it’s back to once again to enthral all its fans.

The animated television series ended with Korra and Asami walking hand-in-hand, eyes trapped into each other’s as they departed into the Spirit world. It was considered a huge step in representing the LGBT community in cartoons.
Later this fact was further cemented by the show’s creator. They confirmed that the ending stated in a subtle way that the union of Korra and Asami. That they would continue their lives journey together in a romantic relationship.
Many fans were happy to see an official stamp sealing what they have waited for so long. However, they were still some who felt cheated. Making the relationship official only when the show aired its last episode was seen as a safe playing measure.

The Legend of Korra: Ruins of the Empire Part 1 out
Some fans still feel that it was too rushed and desire to see more of Korra and Asami as a couple. However, it appears that The Legend of Korra: Ruins of the Empire will cater to all their needs.
That big moment for which the fans of Korra have been waiting for appears to be on its way!!
In the Turf Wars, Comic sequel fans witnessed a kiss between them but it was not enough. They did not discuss how they were moving forward as girlfriends. So fans felt desirous of more details.
This new sequel presents the romance between the two couples in full bloom.
While the Earth Empire is now being ruled by Commander Guan, Korra takes several decisions. One of her major decision is to speak to Kuvira, who has seen the light.

The discussion regarding this matter leads them to their first kiss, clearly portraying a mature romantic relationship.
