Google Pixel Watch is round the corner and fans are anticipating launch this year. Google long back announced about Wear OS, also called Android Wear, an Operating System for Smartwatches and other wearable devices. While people were speculating that Google will also launch a SmartWatch, with the Google Wear OS, pre-installed there was no such announcement.
Last year, it was rumored that Google Smartwatch will be launched as Google Pixel Watch along with its Flagship phones Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. Unfortunately, we never got to see any Pixel SmartWatch. It looks it is about to change, as recent reports are indicating that Google Pixel Watches could arrive this year.
Google Pixel Watch: New Updates
According to German Tech Site WinFuture, who previously leaked correct Information about Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL, Google is working on three new models of Pixel Smartwatch. Supported by the usual Google Wear OS, the OS will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 processor.

It will feature a new chip called Blackghost. It is specially designed to respond to voice commands without any interruption. Users don’t have to touch the display or say Ok Google, but can directly speak into an Always-On Display. Blackghost shall carry out all the above functions while saving battery too.
There are three variants of the watch as of now. Named Ling, Triton, and Sardine, the theme is based on sea creatures and fish species. Google has already manufactured basic hardware and the designs are testing and once suitable will enter mass production soon.
Release Date and Price
As of now, Google has not announced anything related to its Smartwatch Series, neither we have any dates. There have been just rumors and few leaks which put around the launch date of Google Pixel Smartwatch somewhere around in 2019. Google has been smart enough not to announce anything before its testing and perfecting of Products, and so is the case will Google Pixel Watch.
Competitors, Apple and Samsung have priced their Smartwatches between the $249 – $499 mark. Google Pixel Watch will be priced competitively.
