Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 5 is all set to be the next episode in the final season of the show which will air on Sunday, the 12th of April. It is all set to provide a closure to many storylines and is going to be the penultimate episode in the series leading up to the finale. Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 5 Review: What to Expect?
This episode of Game of Thrones is all set to feature the wrath of Daenerys. After The Mountain chopped off Missandei’s head in the previous episode, we saw that all the members of Daenerys’s army were visibly upset. Since then, we know that the dragon queen is going to do something to teach the southerners a lesson.

Furthermore, we also know that Jaime wants to save Cersei – it will be interesting to see if he joins her in the army or manages to have her surrendered. Daenerys is also upset at Euron Greyjoy and the golden company because they killed one of her dragons. Left with only one dragon now, it will be interesting to see what Dany’s next move here is.
Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 5 Script Leaked
The script for this episode had leaked two weeks ago. We know for a fact that there are going to be several characters who die in this episode. The leaked script was posted on Reddit with several plot points in it which tell us about which characters are going to live and which are going to die – and how these deaths will take place.

Who Dies in This Episode?
In Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 5, several major characters are going to die. Here are some major spoilers for the episode:
- Varys will be executed by Daenerys
- The Golden Company and Euron Greyjoy will be burnt down by Dany’s last living dragon
- The Mountain and The Hound will kill each other
- Jaime and Cersei Lannister die together.
- Jon Snow stabs Daenerys to Death (though this might be a part of Ep6)

GoT S8E5 Synopsis and Preview
As of this writing there is no official synopsis that has been published by the show or by HBO about the upcoming Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 5. Moreover, the show hasn’t even been given a title as the company is being very secretive about everything.
