So much to Explore

Game of Thrones has such a large world building which the writers forgot and whole Season 8 was focused on Winterfell and King’s Landing. During the earlier Seasons of Game of Thrones, viewers were introduced to Essos, Braavos, Meeren, Valyria and so many amazing places. The makers had shown nothing new in Season 8 and fans feel betrayed over it. Fans want a Game of Thrones Season 9 exploring more of those new places.

Tying up loose ends

While the Game of Thrones TV show ended with Season 8, there are so many loose ends that still need to be wrapped up. What happens with Daario Naharis in Meeren, why didn’t he came to fight alongside Dany during the great war.

Game of Thrones has built up the Night King as the main threat for so many seasons. Jon Snow and the Night King even had an epic showdown, and it was build up towards a final confrontation. To everyone’s disappointment, Jon had no final fight, and it was Arya Stark that killed Night King in Game of Thrones Season 8.

What made fans angrier is that there was no further mention of the Night King in Season 8. No one knew what was his motive, why was he killing everyone, how could he ride a dragon? If there is a Game of Thrones Season 9, then maybe we can explore more of the Night King.

There was no bitter-sweet ending, it was just a stupid ending. Game of Thrones fans wants a better ending, and maybe GOT Season 9 could do that.
