Apple to be “clearer and more upfront” concerning the iPhone’s Battery issue

Not too long ago, Apple was indulged in a controversy wherein the company was accused of slowing down its iPhones deliberately. It was discovered that Apple was slowing down the battery and performances of its iPhones.

After the investigation conducted by CMA, Apple has guaranteed to be “clearer and more upfront” with iPhone users concerning battery health and performance.

The company promised that they will also provide readily available information regarding the battery health issue.

Along with direction on how iPhone users can maximize the health of their phone’s battery and improve the general preference.

CMA also stated

The CMA became concerned that people might have tried to repair their phone or replace it because they weren’t aware the software update had caused the handset to slow down.

To ensure compliance with consumer law, Apple has formally agreed to improve the information it provides to people about the battery health of their phones and the impact performance management software may have on their phones
