In the trailer, we saw the Lord of Hell and Eve come face to face with one another. The two were in a relationship in the past. However, after Lucifer killed her son Cain, Eve may want revenge. The fans believe after watching the trailer that Eve has been giving subtle hints teasing Lucifer’s downfall.
One of the Reddit users commented,
“Watching the trailer for the nth time, I just noticed that Eve’s sitting right next to a bowl of green apples the first time she shows up to the club.
Even other fan commented that apples were a prominent part of the trailer. The new trailer shows apples multiple times. The fans feel that the apples definitely hold some significance. Otherwise, they won’t be such an important part of the trailer.
Speculations over the humble apple
While some believe that apples signify the troubles between Lucifer and Eve. Others believe that they simply refer to the Original Sin. Either it’s just sarcasm or otherwise, we would have to wait and watch. But one thing is for sure that Eve is definitely hiding something from Lucifer.
The cast teased that the fans will “die” over the Lucifer season 4 finale. The series definitely has a lot in store for its fans this season. It is getting a bit difficult for them to wait for it.
