The title of the second episode in Season 8 is ‘The Rightful Queen’. This was leaked from the French website of HBO from where it has been translated in English. The same website also gave away a portion of the plot synopsis, which, when translated, reads:

“Jon Snow and Daenerys gather their troops before the confrontation with the army of the dead. The terrible threat is jeopardizing all civilizations in the South to Mur…”
If this is true, this episode would mean that something might just happen to Cersei or Daenerys as these are the two ladies who are associated with the title of Queen. Cersei is currently involved in a storyline with Euron Greyjoy while she is also working towards getting Jaime and Tyrion Lannister killed. She is also pregnant with Jaime’s child. Will she convince Euron that it is his child in her womb?

Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 2 Predictions
This episode is going to feature some intense drama between Daenerys and Jaime Lannister. Jaime, the Kingslayer, killed Daenerys’s father and the two are finally coming face to face but are on the same side. Tyrion will be coming in the defence of Jaime. Will there be a trial by combat? Is someone going to die? We’ll find out in Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 2.

We expect that if a trial by combat happens, Brienne of Tarth will be the champion who decides to fight for Jaime Lannister’s life.
It will be interesting to see the dynamic between the two. Furthermore, Cersei has paid Bronn to kill Jaime and Tyrion, it will be interesting to see if the former friends face off. The promo also tells us that the Night King is approaching and would reach Winterfell in less than a day’s time. It will be exciting to see how Jon Snow and Daenerys prepare their armies at such short notice.
