Game of Thrones fame, Maisie Williams has announced that he is going to take a break from her acting career. We all know that she is best known for her role as Arya Stark in Game of Thrones.
What does Maisie Williams’ new hair colour signify?
You might have noticed that she has recently dyed her hair pink. Williams has revealed that she actually did that to stop getting selected for roles. She started acting in Game of Thrones when she just 12 years old. She admits that she did not get a chance to experiment with her roles as she had to maintain her look as a tomboy.
Williams said, “Maybe, I dyed my hair because, subconsciously, I did not want to work. But, it feels so me and that feels good.”
She said that the most hard-hitting thing about the show’s ending was not actually the ending of the show. She said, “Now, I feel I’m free. I can do anything I want to now.” Williams had previously stated that that the last season of Game of Thrones is going to be beautiful. “It’s really strange that I have looked back a lot to the first season during the final season.”
She even said that she does not remember what her life looked like before this show. “I really had no idea that it would get so big,” she said.
We respect Maisie’s decisions to take a break. Nevertheless, we will miss her as Arya Stark.
Arya’s future in Game of Thrones season 8?
In the course of Game of Thrones, Arya has proved her worth as a fiesty killer. The way she took down House Frey for what they did to her family, was applauded by the fans. She reunited with Sansa and Bran in season seven and Sansa seemed quite stunned by her change in personality. Arya finally reunited with Jon Snow in the first episode of the eighth season. And they recreated the goodbye scene between them in the first season (When Jon leaves for the Wall and gives her the Needle).
So, Arya will definitely have a big role to play in the battle against the dead on Game of Thrones. Also, it will be interesting to see if she crosses off the people who are still alive in her list.
