. And the response from the viewers has been amazing. The success of Black Mirror: Bandersnatch has led Netflix to create more of such interactive content and Black Mirror Season 5 might be an interactive one.

What can we expect from Black Mirror Season 5?

Netflix’s Vice President of Product, Todd Yellin said at a media convention in Mumbai that Netflix has acknowledged the success of Black Mirror: Bandersnatch. And he also said that fans can expect more than one interactive storytelling experiences in the next two years or so. Yellin also suggested that the interactive content used in Black Mirror: Bandersnatch could be used in other genres apart from science fiction.

He said, “It could be used in a comedy genre too. It can also be a romantic one where the people get to choose which boy the girl could go out it.”

What is Black Mirror Bandersnatch?

Black Mirror: Bandersnatch aired in December on Netflix. It was a spin-off of Black Mirror. It revolved around a young computer programmer who tries to develop a fantasy novel into a video game. But, the events lead him to question his level of sanity and the reality around him. The viewers were given choices at different points of the film which will influence the course of the movies.

Black Mirror Bandersnatch Cast

Fionn Whitehead starred as the lead in the film. He was also a part of Dunkirk. Will Poulter also acted in the movie as a supporting actor. He was also in the drama series, Gotham. The movie was directed by David Slade.

Even though Black Mirror: Bandersnatch had generated a lot of buzz, it was not the first interactive experience of Netflix. Netflix has used a similar technique with Puss in Boots and Minecraft animated series. Bandersnatch was the first movie to to use that type of content for live-action content.

Black Mirror has aired four seasons till now. Black Mirror Season 5 might take on a similar content style like Black Mirror to boost up their game.
