Los Angeles Clippers are currently sitting at 3rd seed in NBA Western Conference and have beaten the top spot holding Lakers twice. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George joined the Clippers in last free agency and it has really paid off very well. But it won’t be enough in the eliminating playoffs ad LA Clippers will need a third superstar who could handle the ball and make some shots from beyond the arc.

The Clippers are looking at several names to be a legitimate title contender for NBA 2019-20 season and one of the rumored linkup player in Thaddeus Young from Chicago Bulls. As per the reports, LA Clippers are looking at players who will be available before the 2020 February NBA trade deadline and it includes the Bulls forward Young.
LA Clippers needs Third Star with Kawhi Leonard and Paul George
Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are no doubt doing great work for the Los Angeles team but there are still some issues they need to work on so that they can win their Larry O’Brien Trophy. It is why the Clippers organization are looking to sign a deal with the Chicago Bulls power forward Thaddeus Young. He will be a great addition to the Clippers along with Leonard and George who can knock shots from near and also beyond the arc.
The 31-year-old power forward has an average of 8.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.1 steals, 39.7 percent shooting from the field and 32.4 percent three-pointers. Young would be a great frontcourt boost to the Clippers, while also helping out the Kawhi Leonard-Paul George duo.
Thaddeus Young Trade Deal with Clippers Requirements
LA Clippers would have to trade out Maurice Harkless for salary matching purpose and then only Chicago Bulls will give Thaddeus Young. Although, it raises also a question of whether the Clippers would be willing to take a trade risk before the 2020 NBA February deadline. Harkless is doing great in the Los Angeles Clippers and hence they would look for other options and smaller trade packages in the NBA market.
