Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker reviews are out and it has been absolutely destroyed by the critics. Star Wars Episode 9: The Rise of Skywalker is currently at 53/100 Metacritic score and 55% on Rotten Tomatoes. The movie ends on such a bad note that the previous installments including the prequels look way better and everything setup till now is destroyed just like Game of Thrones season 8.

While everyone loved how Avengers: Endgame concluded the saga, Star Wars story has ended and that is the only good thing about it. It seems that Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker has joined Game of Thrones season 8 to have started to have the worst ending for an epic finale of that level with such a huge lore and worldwide fandom.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker critics reviews are proof that the quality of each movie has declined over time. Even though the makers had a huge budget, the biggest production studio and the latest technologies, the new Star Wars movie is a big mess.

The Rise of Skywalker tries hard to make a coherent storyline and connect the previous movies to make a singular story-arc spanning across 9 movies but fails badly at the narrative. The pacing is so fast, the scene jumps from one location to another as if we are seeing a summary for Star Wars saga. In short, The Rise of Skywalker feels satisfying for a moment but then again we are left hopeless.
Star Wars and Game of Thrones have the Worst Ending Finale
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and Game of Thrones Season 8 ending have so much common and are so bad that it will be remembered in history. Both franchises have a huge effect on the pop culture world, where fans all over the world have waited for the conclusion and met with utter disappointment over a crappy ending.

It seems that the makers of Star Wars and Game of Thrones were in so much hurry that instead of planning out and extending the story, they ended it on a bad note, abandoing character development and throwing away entire storyarcs. The Rise of Skywalker and Game of Thrones season 8 will now share the same hate from fans for their ending.
