Washington Redskins finally fired their head coach Jay Gruden after the Week 5 loss against the New England Patriots. The Redskins are currently at 0-5 and there is no future for them in the 2019 NFL season. Gruden had a lot of issues with the Redskins players like Adrian Peterson and Dwayne Haskins and the top brass finally decided to fire him on Monday morning.
The #Redskins move on from coach Jay Gruden, who by the end was likely waiting for this to happen and is obviously not surprised. A lost season in Washington, but the early move gives them a chance to start their search in earnest

While Bill Callahan is currently appointed as the interim head coach, there is no way Washington will move forward with him in the NFL 2020 season. Redskins can replace Jay Gruden with Eric Bieniemy, Kellen Moore, John DeFilippo or Kevin O’Connell.
Eric Bieniemy
The Redskins offense is their biggest problem and a solution to this will be appointing Eric Bieniemy as their head coach. The Chiefs are currently the strongest offensive side with Patrick Mahomes leading the quarterback rankings. Bieniemy is almost running the Kansas City Chiefs as their head coach Andy Reid is more of a formality. Eric could make a new Redskins roster centered around their QB, Dwayne Haskins.
Kellen Moore
Kellen Moore is only 31 years old but has proved that talent can beat experience level in the Dallas Cowboys offensive side. Despite losing the last two games, the Cowboys are great in rushing yards with Moore calling the shots. If the Redskins wants to revamp their roster, they should hire Kellen Moore and give him full power to make decisions.
John DeFilippo
John DeFilippo was removed by the Minnesota Vikings due to differences with head coach Mike Zimmer but in the Jaguars, he has been doing a great job. The Jags offense is doing great even without Nick Foles as Gardner Minshew is doing a great job and some of the credit goes to DeFilippo. The Redskins should take note that only big names are not enough and a lot depends on their learning ability, appoint John DeFilippo as their next head coach.
Kevin O’Connell
The Washington Redskins have made a lot of mistakes in the past by letting the supporting staff go which turned out to be great head coaches in other teams. It is why the Redskins can give a chance to their current offensive coordinator Kevin O’Connell to take the lead job. Washington was once home to names such as Sean McVay, Kyle Shanahan, and Matt LaFleur if they don’t give a promotion to O’Connell, the same can repeat again.
