The Irishman has been in the news for quite some time now and he has been keeping a keen eye on all the recent UFC fights, even commenting after some of them. Will it be McGregor vs Gaethje or McGregor vs Poirier II?
Most people have predicted that upon return Conor McGregor will face either of these two men! It will either be McGregor vs Gaethje for the first time or McGregor vs Poirier for the second time. Gaethje has been a rising name in UFC and his recent beatdown of Cowboy Cerrone has earned him quite the respect among the viewers.

Dustin Poirier, on the other hand, is a different story altogether. A fan favorite, McGregor vs Poirier has already happened a long time ago, when McGregor defeated him in the first round itself! Following that, Poirier, who became the Interim UFC Lightweight Champion lost his belt to a returning Khabib Nurmagomedov. Could it be McGregor vs Poirier II now? There’s also the prospect of McGregor vs Diaz III but it is quite a long shot.

This is a strange question to even think of – because Conor McGregor has been one of the best workers inside the Octagon, but the fact is, that he has been away for quite a long time and his last proper win came all the way back in November 2016 when he defeated Alvarez. For someone who hasn’t won in 3 years, these questions would always be asked! It will be interesting to see how McGregor performs upon return. Stay tuned!
