NFL: Tom Brady is Missing out Antonio Brown as Most of the Patriots Players are Injured

Tom Brady is no doubt one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL who has won several Super Bowls for the Patriots but he also has limits. The Patriots QB is 42 years old and needs a better supporting roster to compete with the young players like Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson.

While Brady is lucky without any injuries in the 2019 NFL season so far, the same can’t be said for other players in the Patriots. It includes the kicker Stephen Gostkowski, receiver Josh Gordon, and safety Patrick Chung who are now out due to injuries. It leaves Tom Brady to work out with the rookies and he wishes Antonio Brown was still there in the Patriots team.

Tom Brady Forced to Work with Rookies

Brady recently said in an interview that it is hard to count on the young wide receivers as they lack the experience. “Every year the team keeps changing and you have to work with what you get, sometimes it works and other times it doesn’t,” said Brady.

The Patriots will play against the Washington Redskins in Week 5 game which won’t be tough and can test out the rookie players. Tom Brady will now have to work with the undrafted rookie Jakobi Meyers and make things work with him. He has done it several times in the past and hopefully will try to do it again.

Antonio Brown was Best Wide Receiver for Brady

Antonio Brown may have been a troubled man outside the field, but he was the best wide receiver even in the single game he played for the Patriots. The road to Super Bowl will be tough for the Patriots if something happens to Tom Brady.

If Brown was still in the Patriots team, things would have been way better. The Patriots are looking at several replacements for the wide receiver position and none of them stands on the level of Antonio Brown. Brady may have to find a way to work without Brown otherwise it would mean the Patriots losing.
