Joker, having released last week, has been an international success for DC and the movie continues to be watched by millions from across the globe. It has been unanimously appreciated by the critics as well as the audiences and has managed to not only entertain people but also address mental health issues in a light like never before. Interestingly, we might get to watch the second movie in the series soon! Let us take a closer look at the possibility of a Joker 2.

Joker 2 Confirmed? When Will Joker Sequel Release?
Joaquin Pheonix, who has never before worked in a sequel, has commented that if Joker were to get a second part he would love to work in it. In addition to Phoenix, Todd Philips, the director of the movie also commented that if everything goes right, there might just be a second part. However, till then one must consider it a standalone film on one of the most iconic comic book villains of all time.

Even months after the filming has ended, Phoenix comments that he still thinks about this character that he played. This means that there is indeed a spark in the actor to play this role once again.

Now this will be another interesting aspect – and one of the only ones which make logical sense because now that we have the origin story of The Joker, it would make sense for him to face his arch-nemesis, Batman, in the Joker 2 sequel movie. Stay tuned with us for more information on this.
