Conor McGregor’s return was one of the most anticipated events about UFC 245. Fans were waiting for Dana White to make a sudden announcement about the Irishman making his much-awaited comeback in December! However, that did not happen – and is unlikely to happen now as two major fights have now been announced for the PPV.
Let us take a closer look at this PPV and see what other fights are happening in place of Conor McGregor vs Dustin Poirier II
Man if Max Holloway & Colby Covington both lose @ UFC 245 I’m finna be very upset.

UFC 245 to Feature Holloway vs Volkanovski
Max Holloway will be in action at the UFC 245 PPV defending his UFC World Featherweight Championship against Alexander Volkanovski. Interestingly, the name of Max Holloway was once in contention to face Conor McGregor, but that clearly isn’t happening anymore.
It hasn’t been announced as to how this fight would be placed in the card, but it is most likely going to be the co-main event of the show. Let us now take a closer look at what we expect to be the main event of UFC 245:
Kamaru vs Colby no doubt is the main event. Should be. As far as Max and Amanda goes i think Max sjould be the co-main. He’s a volumes fighter & they gotta give him 5 rounds. Amanda doesn’t take more tham 5 minutes anyways. #UFC245

Usman vs Covington Happening Confirmed For UFC 245
Kamaru Usman vs Colby Covington was recently confirmed for UFC 245. Usman will defend his UFC World Welterweight Championship belt against Colby Covington at the event. While many fans expected that if Conor McGregor can’t make it, maybe it will be Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Tony Ferguson at UFC 245. However, it seems that this match too, is off the table and Usman vs Covington might just be made the main event!
