NFL News: Antonio Brown Washington Redskins Trade Deal Possible After Losing 3 Games in Row

Antonio Brown has publicly announced that he is quitting NFL and going back to college to complete his studies. It sounds like a joke but is it is true, Brown after getting a release from the Patriots has enrolled Central Michigan University amid the sexual allegations charges. Although, it might be a PR move as suggested by his agent to improve his image in the public.

Antonio Brown is still a free agent and is eligible to get deals from any of the NFL teams. There are a few teams interested in Brown and Washington Redskins could be one of them. The Redskins are doing so bad in the 2019 NFL season, it won’t hurt them to sign Brown and change the 0-3 score to something better.

Antonio Brown Retirement is Not Permanent

Antonio Brown has taken retirement from the NFL and he is not coming back to play again. It might be true for the moment but it doesn’t mean that the same will stay forever. Brown was hurt that the Patriots and the Raiders didn’t support him and released him without paying his guaranteed money.

It is the main reason why Brown doesn’t want to play anymore which could soon change as the NFL intervenes in the matter. Antonio Brown could fight a legal battle with the Oakland and New England sides to get his contract money. Brown also threatened retirement over his helmet ban and it won’t be a surprise if he pulls something like this once again.

The Washington Redskins have lost their first three games of 2019 NFL season and honestly, they don’t care much about anything at this point. The only way Antonio Brown could harm them is some negative publicity which they won’t care much.

The public relations chief for Washington Redskins, Tony Wyllie has moved on the special Olympics committee and without him, no one is stopping them to sign Brown. It is not like Antonio has been arrested or proven guilty, hence the Redskins can legally sign a trade deal with him and use him in the Week 4 game against the Giants.
