NBA: Devin Booker Trade Deals With Boston Celtics, New York Knicks and Los Angeles Lakers

Devin Booker is another young talented NBA player who could benefit a lot by changing teams. The Phoenix Suns drafted Booker in 2015 and ever since that he has shown amazing performance in every season. Booker had an average of 26.8 points and 6.8 assists per game in the last season with Suns. Even though Booker had a five-year, $158 million contract extension with the team, there are ways to hand it over to other teams.

Booker is one of the best point guards who has scored more than 60 points in a single game. Despite such big numbers at just the age of 22, Devin has never been part of the playoffs. It is time for Booker to get in the big leagues and make deals with teams such as Boston Celtics, New York Knicks and Los Angeles Lakers.

Boston Celtics

Boston Celtics are kind of rebuilding their team after they lost Kyrie Irving in the free agency. Even though they got Kemba Walker as a replacement, the team still needs new shooters as even Al Horford has left the team. Devin Booker will be an excellent addition to Boston and the combination of him and Walker will be killer. The Celtics don’t have depth and Booker is all they need, hence a trade deal can be made soon.

New York Knicks

New York Knicks are the only team who doesn’t have any big stars even though they are the most popular team with the largest cap space. None of the NBA stars joined the Knicks in free agency and it has further reduced their chances of making into the 2019-20 playoffs.

The Knicks could offer Julius Randle, Mitchell Robinson and/or Kevin Knox to Suns and sign Devin Booker in their team. There might be some new hope in the Knicks side with Booker leading the shooting department.

Los Angeles Lakers

Los Angeles Lakers have two of the best players in the form of LeBron James and Anthony Davis. While they have trying hard to get a third player to support the duo, it would also take the load off the team. Devin Booker can team up with James and Davis and it would be the most deadly offense in the whole NBA. Booker is currently sitting on a high deal and the Lakers will have to offer Kyle Kuzma and a lot of money to the Phoenix Suns for a deal.
