It is a dream match of sorts that the two will be facing each other for the first time ever at the main event of UFC 242, where a returning Khabib Nurmagomedov would like to unify his championship with Poirier’s interim one and become the unified world lightweight champion.

Dustin Poirier is no hack! He is one of the strongest men in the lightweight division and has emerged victorious in fights with guys like Alvarez, Holloway, Pettis, and Gaethje. Given that he is on a really strong roll of late – would it possible that he actually manages to defeat the undefeated Khabib Nurmagomedov?
