Philadelphia 76ers is looking for some new players after Jimmy Butler left the team in the free agency. While Butler joined the team of Miami Heat, the 76ers extended the contract of Ben Simmons at a huge salary. The 76ers are now looking at the potential veteran players and Joe Johnson could be the next name in their team.
As per the reports, Johnson is set to meet with the 76ers on Thursday for a workout and training session. Along with that, the 76ers are also eyeing their former star Spencer Hawes and could offer him a deal for the final place in their roster. Big 3 NBA league is one major reason for the players to make a comeback. The 76ers team could make a deal with Johnson and Hawes soon for the NBA 2019-20 season.
From Big Three to NBA
Joe Johnson last played for the Rockets from where his journey in the main NBA league ended. But he joined the Big 3 league of Ice Cube and proved his worth to everyone. Johnson was named as the MVP for the Big three league and is ready to make a comeback.
7-footer Spencer Hawes is working out for the 76ers Thursday, league sources tell ESPN. Hawes, 31, has played 10 years in NBA and played with Lakers G-League team last season. @MarcJSpearsESPN reported Joe Johnson is part of Philly workout too.
