Android 9 Pie Update: Release Date for Pixel, Galaxy S8/S9, Note 8/9, OnePlus, LG G7, V20, Motorola and More

Android 9 Pie was released almost a year ago in August 2018 and most of the phones have gotten the update by now. There are so many new features in the ninth version of Android OS and it has been a huge upgrade over the previous one. From One UI to AI battery management, Android Pie has got all the features.

Google started rolling out Android 9 update in the Pixel phones and after that Samsung Galaxy S9 and OnePlus 6 were some of the first phones to receive the update. There are still a few mobile brands and models which are yet to be updated to the Android pie version. Here are the list of mobiles that have already been updated and the release date for the rest of phones to get Android 9 Pie update.

Release Date for Next Android 9 Update

Apart from Mobile OS, Google has also released the Android 9 Pie updates for the Smart TVs at the end of July. There are also certain brands which are not much popular in the US but are supposed to be upgraded to the next version of Android.

It includes phones such as BlackBerry, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S, Oppo R15 Pro, Vivo X21, Vivo NEX and Oppo R17. Almost every device released within the last 12-18 months is supposed to receive the Android 9 update. Google is planning to launch Android 10 soon and it means the rest of devices will get Android 9 Pie in the month of September.
