The name of Undertaker is synonymous with that of WWE. One of their longest-standing characters, the deadman, Undertaker has been around for close to 30 years now. Having debuted in November 1990, next year would be his thirty-year anniversary in the company. No one really lasts that long in an industry as taxing on the body that wrestling is, but yet he continues to defy the odds. However, one often wonders – is it game over for the reaper this year?

The Undertaker Ready to Retire?
Some people wrestle because they love wrestling. The likes of Kurt Angle and Daniel Bryan have put their body through a lot of pain and just pulled out classics one after the other even after injuries that threatened their life and career.

However, there are others who are just addicted to wrestling, like Ric Flair – the Undertaker perhaps falls in the same category. Having done that close to all his adult life, Undertaker just can’t seem to leave the ring forever. Nevertheless, if rumors are to be believed, this is the last year of Undertaker in the company and that Undertaker will indeed retire at WrestleMania 36.

Over the years, the deadman, Undertaker has achieved so much that perhaps no wrestler before him or no wrestler after him will be able to claim. He has wrestled the likes of Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair, as well as the attitude era stars such as Triple H, The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin – the stars of the PG era such as John Cena, CM Punk and the others, and even from the current era, including Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Rusev!
