The Simpsons has been one of the biggest and the most popular names when it comes to TV shows across the world. Currently, in its 30th season, the animated sitcom is loved by fans all across the world and has been known for its wit and humor, as well as parodies.

Interestingly, this is going to be the 666th episode of Simpsons ever created. The show jokingly pointed it out that ‘as we planned it from the beginning’.
The Simpsons to Parody Stranger Things!
In the poster that has been released for the Halloween special, it depicts Lisa Simpson with a bleeding nose on the centre. Lisa is parodying the character of Eleven from the show.
Jim Harper, Mike, Dustin and Lucas can also be seen being parodied in the poster. Interestingly, the same poster also features a parody of ‘Shape of Water’ on top.

The timing for the announcement is also perfect as Stranger Things Season 3 came out just a couple of weeks ago. The show has been widely appreciated by the audiences.
