Klay Thompson making time for Space Jam 2 despite injury
After the brutal ACL injury during the NBA 2018-19 Finals, Thompson made an exit from the season. The unfortunate incident occurred during game 6 of the NBA 2018-19 Finals when the Toronto Raptors got to take home their first franchise championship win. But the good thing is that Thompson is recovering quickly now.

In a recent video, Thompson was seen walking with the help of a single crutch, hugging James. Even though he looks in good health now, it is not clear yet how he would manage to film for a movie while nursing an injury. Other NBA stars will also join Movie’s main star, James. Draymond Green, Anthony Davis, and Damian Lillard have also joined the team. The stars for spotted in Los Angeles for the movie’s shoot.

Apart from the NBA stars, we will also get to see Sonequa Martin-Green from The Walking Dead. She will portray the role of Savannah James, who is a businesswoman and LeBron’s wife. The sequel will also feature WNBA athletes including Nneka Ogwumike, Chiney Ogwumike, and Diana Taurasi. The movie won’t be complete without Bugs Bunny and Lola Bunny.
When will Space Jam 2 release?

The movie is set to release on 16 July 2021. The filming of the movie is still underway. The basketball stars will have to manage the filming schedules along with the training camps. It is also the reason why some of the stars refused to join the movie, including NBA 2019 MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo.
