NBA free agency was kind of mixed for the team of Boston Celtics as they lost their top star player in the form of Kyrie Irving. At the same time, All-Star point guard Kemba Walker was signed by the Celtics as a replacement. The Celtics also got the veteran Enes Kanter, joining guard Marcus Smart and swingman Jaylen Brown in their new team. Along with that, Jayson Tatum and Gordon Hayward are also added to the team to play the forward positions.
The Boston team is totally changed and the next NBA season will tell whether the change is good or bad. The Celtics need some more talented players to compete with the teams of Brooklyn Nets, Milwaukee Bucks and Philadelphia 76ers. Vince Carter
Most of the player added in the Boston Celtics are young or lack the proper experience to deal with the tacky situation. Vince Carter could be the perfect veteran to be added to the team who could also be a great locker room presence. The shooting guard is 42 years old and won’t even demand much money from the Celtics. Most of the players only spend a few minutes on the court and Carter can do that easily for the Celtics.

Zaza Pachulia
The Boston Celtics could easily use one more center player who can defend the rim and also rebound at the same time. NBA center Zaza Pachulia has enough experience and has played a few final matches with the Golden State Warriors recently. The 35-year-old might not be that big of a hitter but he can easily help out the other Boston players.

Jerryd Bayless
The Boston Celtics lost one of their best shooters as Kyrie Irving decided to join the team of Brooklyn Nets. Although it is not possible to replace Irving, Jerryd Bayless can try to fill up the void. Bayless is a crisp shooter and the risk can turn into an opportunity as he won’t cost much to the Celtics. All he needs to do is stay around for some time and the rest of the job can be done easily.
