The Lakers have one of the strongest duos in the form of LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Let us take a look at the main power duos in NBA and how would their next season play out.
Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving
The Brooklyn Nets almost broke the internet when they managed to sign deals with both Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. The two-star players are also good friends in real life and wanted to play together for a long time. LeBron James is one of the legendary NBA players whose name alone is enough to strike fear in the opponent team. The Lakers traded everything they could to get Anthony Davis from the Pelicans team during the NBA draft lottery. Finally, the duo of LeBron and Anthony is ready to play and together have the best odds for winning NBA 2020 finals.

The Lakers tried their best to get Kawhi Leonard as their third star, but could not manage a deal. Even without Leonard, the Lakers has a solid chance to win the future titles. Most of the experts say that the James-Davis duo is the most powerful pair up NBA has ever seen and no other teams can beat them.

The Warriors re-signed Thompson for a big sum in hopes that he will replace Durant. It will be hard for the duo, Curry and Thompson have to go through a lot as the opposing teams have gotten stronger. James Harden and Russell Westbrook
There is one duo who have not made official yet but have proved that together they are unbeatable. James Harden and Russell Westbrook used to play together for the Oklahoma City Thunder team a few years ago and made it to the finals. The Houston Rockets knows the real value of the duo and are trying hard to sign a deal with Westbrook.

After trading out Paul George to the Clippers, the Thunder team is ready to trade Westbrook too and rebuild a new roster. Given how Chris Paul and Harden are not in good terms, the Rockets badly need a new star. If the deal with Westbrook is somehow managed, then the Houston team can be a contender for the next season. The power duo of Harden and Westbrook have a lot of experience and can repeat the same for the Rockets.
