Season 16 of Keeping Up with the Kardashians ended with an intense and dramatic finale. What does the show have in store after the explosive Jordyn Wood and Tristan Thompson scandal? The show has not been renewed for Season 17, but the theories have started evolving already.
Keeping Up With The Kardashians Season 16 ended with a cheating scandal
Season 16’s last few episodes covered Jordyn and Tristan’s cheating scandal. Khloé Kardashian was totally stunned to hear the news as Jordyn is Kendall Jenner’s best friend and also lived in their home. The news came as a shock for everyone and the audience is left wondering what Season 17 has in store for them.
There is a three-year contract between the network and the Kardashian family which is valid till the end of this year. The parties must renegotiate for future seasons. It seems that the show has been doing great till now and no one would like to back out now. There are also chances that the family will now introduce the Kardashians clan’s new generation. This came after Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian’s son Mason gave his first confessional.

When will Keeping Up With The Kardashians Season 17 release?
We are yet to see if E! wants to continue with more seasons on the Kardashian’s terms. Sources report that the previous contract cost around $100- 150 million. Even though Season 15 saw a decline in the ratings, Season 16 managed to get them back up again.
In October 2017, a spokesman of the network said that the show would continue till 2020. The network also looks forward to collaborating with the family for many more years. In April 2019, Kris Jenner was reported to be in tight negotiations regarding the new contract with the network for future seasons. But we still wait for an official announcement.
