Manny Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman was a match nobody expected the Pac Man to win. However, here he is, still the champ. Pacquiao defeated Thurman via split decision and has since been praised by the entire boxing community. While there were a lot of people in the past who criticized him for being too old or too slow, it now appears that the Pac Man has defied all expectations!
However, now that everything is done and dusted and Thurman has been handed his first loss by the Filipino legend, is it time for him to retire? Let us take a closer look at this and examine why he MUST retire now.

Manny Pacquiao Must Retire! Here’s Why
People have been calling for the Pac Man to retire all the way since 2012. When Juan Manuel Marquez handed him a major loss, there were demands for him to retire. Followed by that again, in 2017, when he lost to Jeff Horn, people wanted Manny to hang his boots. Same was the case in 2019 but he’s still around!
The biggest reason as to why Manny Pacquiao must retire is that he is getting old and that the cranium gets thinner as you grow older. You never know which punch is going to hurt you a lot and which of them is going to concuss you!

What’s Next for the Pac Man?
Now that Manny Pacquiao has faced the music and has emerged the victor, one can only wonder what’s next for him. Will he face Amir Khan? Will he face Mayweather once more? or will he have a rematch with Thurman? Or is he going to follow the veteran instinct and retire for good?
