Silicon Valley ending with season 6
Silicon Valley, created by John Altschuler, Dave Krinsky, and Mike Judge, features Kumail Nanjiani, Thomas Middleditch, Josh Brener and Martin Starr. TJ Miller was a part of the show till the fourth season. Sources report that Silicon Valley season 6 will be the finale season and consist of seven episodes only. The finale season is set to premiere by the end of this year itself.
The show has several Emmy nominations including best comedy show. In 2015, the show won two awards as well. Season 6 is currently in pre-production. The executive producers and showeunners said,
Silicon Valley has been a career and life highlight for us. We’ll miss it desperately, but we’ve always let Pied Piper’s journey guide the way, and Season 6 seems to be the fitting conclusion.
The rumors for a possible Silicon Valley ending began when season 6 was taking more time. This was done mainly to accommodate Berg, who co-created the show and also another HBO comedy series Barry. The previous seasons usually consisted of eight to ten episodes and were released in March and April.
The show was renewed last year in April itself, but it will only release by the end of this year. The creators said that Silicon Valley is only a beginning and many more collaborations with these performers, writers and the amazing crew will follow.
