Even the voice actor, Sarah Chalke has revealed that she has worked for a lot of episodes of Rick and Morty season 4. It has made everyone speculate that storyline where a clone of Beth is made by Rick will be picked up in season 4. There are so many storylines possible with Beth, which can be a part of the next season.
The Mystery of Beth Smith
The Mystery of Beth was first established in the season 2 episode of Rick and Morty titled ‘The ABC’ s of Beth’. In this episode, Beth asks her father Rick to create a clone of her so that she can travel to the cosmos. The clone of Beth will spend time with her family on earth, while real Beth can freely explore the universe.
What confused everyone was the ending, when Morty, Summer, and Jerry asks about the real Beth’s identity and Rick just smiles. Rick and Morty show has done it many times, where it leaves viewers in confusion when they move to a new episode without a proper ending to the last one.
Previous stories will be completed
Rick and Morty season 4 can easily reveal what happened to Beth, along with other plotlines such as Evil Morty. As per the reports, there are a lot of unfinished stories in Rick and Morty, which season 4 could carry on. While it could also focus on Beth as one of the main characters, as it was revealed that she is very much like her father Rick.
Beth is also obsessed with science and inventions, likes crazy weapons and wants to travel parallel universes. It would be interesting to see which fresh stories are picked and which of the older ones are continued in Rick and Morty season 4.
