Eiichiro Oda has always been passionate about his creation and is always giving hints about the future of One Piece to the fans. In a recent TV program, Oda revealed that the ending of One Piece manga is near. It will have a few more volumes, and that will be the end of it. He further disclosed that the ending of the manga was planned while he was in college.

In any event, if some fan manages to guess the ending, Oda will change it. While the other writers are saying not to take it seriously, and One Piece will continue for some more time.

As of right now, One Piece has totally published over 92 volumes, and there has been a confirmed list of 945 chapters with 938 chapters published. The makers have clearly said that there will be around 100 volumes in One Piece series.

Given how close they are to a thousand chapters, it won’t be a surprise if they end it the 4-digit number. Most of the rumors say that One Piece will have 100 volumes and 1000 chapters in total. It means a total of 62 chapters are yet to be released out of which 55 are yet to be announced.

It is stated that the One Piece TV series will also run as long as the manga comics, and both will end together. There are also plans for a live-action TV series, along with animated movies and video games on One Piece manga. As of right now, Japan has released 13 theatrical movies based on One Piece manga series.
