New Samsung Galaxy S11 specs rumour claim possibly best camera phone of 2020

Few months have passed since the launch of Samsung Galaxy S10 lineup, and rumors and leaks of Galaxy S11 specs have started to creep up on the web.

Samsung Galaxy S11 specs to include a 64 MP camera

The most recent rumor claims might make it worth if you are waiting for the next flagship from Samsung.

According to these rumored spec sheet, Samsung Galaxy will pack a whopping 64 MP camera sensor. The rumor came to light after the South Koran tech giant announced their newly designed 64-MP (GW1) and 48-MP(GM2) camera sensors for smartphones.

The executive of Samsung Electronic Youngin Park told media that Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 and GW2 when combined with advanced pixel technology, will raise the bar of smartphone photography to a whole new level. The rumor claims there is no doubt that Samsung will utilize these sensors in their Galaxy S11 lineup.

Galaxy Note10 is Samsung's last 1/2.55-inch 1.4um CMOS flagship phone. Samsung has been using it for 4 years. Starting next year, Samsung S11 will adopt a new large-size large-pixel CMOS.

According to the notable leaker of Samsung information Ice Universe, the next Galaxy Note 10 will sport a 1/2.55 inch 1.4um CMOS sensor which has been used for the last 4 years. So we hope that it would be the last time this sensor will be used in a Samsung phone.

It should be noted that Samsung has been a known supplier of components for other smartphone makers like Google and LG. This means you could see these sensors on the other smartphones before the launch of Galaxy S11.

Another interesting rumor claims that Samsung Galaxy S11 will not sport any physical buttons like power and volume control. This is not new since Google is also planning to ditch the physical buttons in favor of capacitive buttons. It would be interesting to see if Samsung will also use these capacitive touch buttons.

Samsung Galaxy S11 Release Date

Samsung has followed a pretty consistent schedule for its smartphone launches. If they follow the same cycle, then we expect the Galaxy S11 to be released in the 1st quarter of 2020.
