The New York Knicks are hell-bent on having the top NBA players in their team and ready for a lot of trade deals. The Knicks currently have No. 3 draft pickup with them, while they are also trying for other offers. One of the biggest competitors to the Knicks in the NBA draft is the Atlanta Hawks. The Hawks already tried to trade with the Gotham City squad but was politely declined.

The New Orleans Pelicans have offered their major players for the trade, over which every NBA team is fighting. Even other teams such as the Boston Celtics, Minnesota Timberwolves and the Chicago Bulls are interested in that offers. Here is how the Hawks vs Knicks rivalry is shaping up new deals in the NBA 2019 draft.
Possible deal of the Knicks
New York Knicks currently have the overall No. 3 draft pickup, which they will possibly use to get RJ Barret in their team. While for the fourth pick, there are a lot of names under consideration. Top prospects such as Darius Garland, Jarrett Culver, De’Andre Hunter and Cam Reddish could be the possible choices.
The New Orleans Pelicans seems to be interested in Jarrett Culver, the shooting guard that currently plays for Texas Tech Red Raiders. It would further increase problems for the Knicks, as they have no big names to offer to the Pelicans for a possible trade deal.
What are the Hawks trying?
Meanwhile, the Atlanta Hawks are trying to move up in the 2019 NBA draft to get a better young guard for their team. Jaxson Hayes and Tyler Herro are the possible names in the draft that could be picked up by the Hawks. At the same time, they would not want to too many rookies in their team, hence the only name would be selected.
It means that the Hawks are ready to trade two of their players to get one from the Pelicans. This makes a lot of sense considering the offer from Knicks, as they want more players, while Hawks want quality.
