Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson: A Closer Look at the Injuries
Kevin Durant got injured first and he suffered a torn Achilles Tendon. This is a painful injury and makes it hard to even walk comfortably, let alone play professional basketball. Durant is easily out for a year and is unlikely to even play the 2020 NBA finals.
Klay Thompson injured his ACL and is expected to be down and out for at least six to eight months but he is expected to make a full recovery by the time competition in the 2020 season heats up.
Unfinished Business Between Durant and Thompson
Reportedly, after his fellow teammate got injured during the last game of the finals, Kevin Durant facetimed Klay Thompson and wished him to get well soon. He motivated his friend while saying they’ll both be on the road to recovery soon and will be back in the team in no time!
