An old vampire to be introduced in season 2
Executive producer Julie Plec revealed in an interview that the team is quite excited for the introduction of the new character. She added that for quite a long time now, they wanted to introduce an ‘old old-world vampire’ in the show.
The introduction of a new character can undoubtedly help in changing the setting, mood, and energy of this new installment.
Fans of the show may be wondering that one of the rules of the school was that only teenage vampires are allowed and not anyone older. But the executive producer explained that they are going to introduce a new vampire who was desiccated when he was only 17 years old in the 15th century.
Hope becomes a mentor
Now that he has woken up in the 21st century, he may not be aware of the rules and regulations of the modern world, and that is why he will have to go back to school.
Fans are also excited about the possibility that with the introduction of this new character in Legacies season 2, Hope will have a chance to become a mentor rather than remain a damsel in distress who always seeks others’ advice. It is highly possible that she will be the one who will help the new vampire fit in and adapt in the modern world.
