Apple unveiled its latest iOS 13 beta update during the WWDC 2019 event a couple of weeks ago. With iOS 13 there came the dark mode and bunch of other stuff for iPhones. Apple iOS 13 beta shows missing lightning port

The shared image shows that Apple could discard the lightning port and instead use USB-C port for its next iPhone, possibly iPhone 11.

The picture posted on Twitter(France User) witnessed something interesting when he plugged his iPhone to a Mac. The user noted that icon seems to be that of a USB-C cable than the lightning cable.

This clearly symbolizes that the Tim Cook company might subsequently be ready to abandon the lightning port for a USB Type-C. Notwithstanding, the fact that nothing is official and these details should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Nearly every Android phone maker has shifted to Type-C connectivity; Apple is the only one who is yet to make a change. With the Type-C port, you get a lot of added functionality when compared to the lightning cable. You get faster data Transfer Rates, better Power Delivery and much much more.

Apple iOS 13 iPhone feature

Apart from the introduction of the USB-C port in the next iPhone reports suggests that Apple is also planning on skimming the 3D touch technology from the iPhone 11.

Apple’s latest software update also brought in the following features.

A System-wide Dark Mode
Faster app loading time when compared to previous OS updates
All new Apple Sign in feature with a major focus on privacy
Revamped Maps and Health app
The latest iOS version will also help in silencing unknown calls(spam calls) automatically
