ABC network confirmed the renewal of Grey’s Anatomy season 16 and also promised renewal of season 17.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, showrunner Krista Vernoff revealed that the writing for the upcoming installment of the series will begin on Monday. June 3, 2019.
