GoPro Hero 8 has been the center of the speculations as the expected release date of September is getting closer. However, the San Mateo based company has maintained its silence even after the public pressure.

Even though most of the specs of the eight entry in the GoPro Hero lineup is merely speculation, we take a look at them so that you can know what to expect from the product.
According to the report of Trusted Reviews, it highly likely that three variants of the product will be launched at different price points.
GoPro Hero 8 Black Features and Design
Currently, there is little to no information about the design as there is no leak or render on the web. However, it looks like that GoPro will not make any significant changes to the design of the camera.
We expect that GoPro will upgrade the monochromatic display to a colored one since it’s competitor already ship with a colored screen.
Rumors suggest that Hero 8 Black will use the new GP2 processor which would provide a performance bump. The new chip might enable HDR recording which is not available on Hero 7 Black.
Some heavily requested features on the GoPro forums support for external microphone using Bluetooth, improved image stabilization in low light conditions and 960 fps slow mo.
GoPro Hero 8 Black Price and Release Date
Looking at the release pattern of GoPro, we expect the new action camera to be launched in Septemeber 2019.
Interestingly, CEO of GoPro hinted toward a possible refresh of their whole lineup. During the announcement of GoPro Q1 earnings call, he said that they are planning a refreshed lineup at all prices.
The price of GoPro Hero 8 will decide its success against the DJI aggressive pricing. DJI new Osmo Action costs $50 less than the current Hero 7.
So we expect that the new Hero 8 Black to be priced around $300 mark.
