Good Omens’ Ending Explained

Aziraphale (Michael Sheen) and Crowley (David Tennant) were spotted drinking in The Ritz. This came after they witnessed the averting apocalypse and survived it with Agnes Nutter’s help. Crowley and Aziraphale got their share for averting the Apocalypse.

Crowley was sentenced to take a bath in the holy water and executed, while Aziraphale was ordered to walk into the fire of Hell. But luckily, nothing happened to them.

This was due to Agnes Nutter’s final prophecy. It said,

When all is faced and all is done, ye must choose your faces wisely, for soon enough you will be playing with fire.

The two swapped faces when which allowed them to survive their executions. Sitting in Bloomsbury after these incidents, the two switched back their bodies and warned that a greater battle lies ahead of them. This would be a battle between Earth and the combined armies of Hell and Heaven.

The Antichrist incarnate Adam Young stopped the Apocalypse. He even used his powers for destroying three out of the Four Apocalypse Horsemen. He gave his friends the power to counteract Pollution (Lourdes Faberes), Famine (Yusuf Gatewood) and War (Mireille Enos).
