The prequel for Game of Thrones called Blood Moon has started filming in Belfast after the epic 8 season run of the show. HBO has decided to continue the adventures in the world of Ice and Fire with the return to Northern Ireland.

Game of Thrones Prequel Shooting Started
Reports have suggested that the location for the shooting of the show is still undisclosed. Filming will be conducted in several different places all across Belfast and one of the locations is Titanic Studios. Earlier reports had suggested that the shooting will start in spring, but now it seems that Belfast segment of the GOT Prequel will be shot first.
Game of Thrones Prequel: What we know so far
There is not much known about the GOT Prequel except that it will be set a thousand years before the arrival of Jon Snow and Khaleesi. Furthermore, Oscar-nominated Naomi Watts, Bafta award winner Miranda Richardson and Dr. Who lead John Simm will be featuring in the show.
The Game of Thrones spin-off will be set in the Golden Age of Heroes and it will feature the events of the fall of the empire into its darkest times. Viewers will also get to know the true origin of White Walkers and the Night King, discover the secrets of Westeros, uncover the mysteries of the East and learn about the legendary Starks.
Everything you did not know about the world of Ice and Fire that was not featured on Game of Thrones will be revealed in the show. Release date is yet to be announced by HBO but it is possible that we won’t see the series until 2020 or 2021.
