It is one of the simplest Fortbytes that you can find in the game! All you have to do to find the 49th Fortbyte is to simply enter Trog’s Ice Cave and bust open the wooden cover located under the staircase.

Once you do that, you will see your brand new Fortbyte right in front of you! In terms of difficulty, this is perhaps one of the simplest and the easiest Fortbytes that you can get.
What is the Use of Fortbytes?
As of this writing, Forbyte 49 as well as all the other 99 Fortbytes are available only for the gamers who have a battle pass. Once a gamer has collected all 100 of these Fortbytes, he/she gets access to an image which will “reveal the secrets of season 9” to them. Interestingly, this is the only thing we know about Fortbytes so far!
