Dragon Ball FighterZ DLC to release in E3
Janemba is expected to join the Dragon Ball FighterZ roster on 12th June, when the E3 conference begins this year. We still have little idea as to how this horned villain will be portrayed in the game. However, some clues can be taken from his portrayal in the films and other fighting games.
Janemba is expected to take the anchor or point position. Thanks to his tremendous damage, a support position seems a poor fit for his abilities. The character can dish out incredible damage and is a potential headache for the opposition without the use of meters early in the game.
If we consider Janemba as a point character, then to plug his deficiencies, support and anchor will be necessary. Janemba’s abilities- from cube warp teleportation to sword attacks and cloning abilities are all close range attacks. Someone needs to provide firepower from the backlines and to increase the pressure that Janemba already provides. Tien is someone who fits the description perfectly.
Instead, if Janemba is considered an anchor, then a character that is capable of wiping out an entire team is needed in case Janemba dies. Assuming we already have Tien, the next best choice is Gotenks as he can really help Janemba in the neutral when he is alive. Along with a that, a Gotenks with Tien in support is a pretty powerful duo on its own.
Having said all that, this is just mere speculation. Who knows what role Janemba will take up, although one thing is certain, it will be interesting to see how this new addition will shake up the game.
