Conor McGregor Announced His Retirement on Twitter Back in April
McGregor has been discussing his next fight with the company, but eventually, he decided to put it all to rest. He made his UFC debut in April 2013 and has risen to superstardom both inside and out of the cage. McGregor managed to make millions from the boxing match with Floyd Mayweather.
Hey guys quick announcement, I’ve decided to retire from the sport formally known as “Mixed Martial Art” today.
I wish all my old colleagues well going forward in competition.
I now join my former partners on this venture, already in retirement.

His whiskey company and endorsement deals also helped him rake in huge sums of money. He has endorsement deals with Reebok, Monster Energy drinks, Burger King, Budweiser and beats by Dre headphones.
Conor McGregor Net Worth: How Much Money Does The UFC Star Have?
Conor even tweeted earlier that fighting is his third level income. The Irish Rich List mentioned that McGregor’s net worth is £101m. The previous year saw an increase of around £25m due to his earnings from the 2018 UFC fight. He received around $3m for the fight along with 2.4m for pay-per-view buys.
The estimated net worth of £101m did not include the launch of his Proper Twelve whiskey. It is selling strongly and will be added to his net worth in the next year.
UFC president Dana White said,
The whiskey thing is probably going to make this kid a billion dollars. They can’t keep his Proper 12 whiskey, they can’t keep it off the shelves. It’s flying off the shelves.
After listening to his retirement news, White said that McGregor has the money to do so and his whiskey is doing really well. It completely makes sense. McGregor himself said that by the time he turns 35, he will be a billionaire.
